Scholarship Opportunities

Unsure of how to pay for college?  There are many options to help pay for college including scholarships.  

The FALC scholarship is open to any student who is graduating and planning on completing some type of education after graduation.  (See "Scholarship Packet" Below in Faribault High School Scholarships)

Big Brothers/Big Sisters Scholarship
Open to all students who had a big brother or big sister growing up.  Please see the link for more information.  Due May .

Dakota County Technical College Scholarship Info
Over 51 different scholarship links available.  Workforce Development Scholarship of $2,5000 is available this year until February 26.  

Minnesota State Grant

Minnesota State Grant is eligible for both US Citizens and students who are not eligible for citizenship.  Please see the link for information about how to apply and additional funding opportunities.

National Association for the Education of Homeless Children's annual scholarship.  This scholarship is for students who have experienced homelessness at any point in their education.  ​Due Date: ​April 30

SFM Foundation Scholarship
Students who are the natural, adopted, step-child or full dependent of a worker injured or killed in a work-related accident during the course of their employment with a Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa-based employer is eligible for this scholarship.  Please check the link for further information.   Due Date:  March 31

South Central College Scholarship Info
Over $50,000 in scholarships are available.  Complete the application found on the website.  Scholarships are available each year.  Due Date:  February 8
